The Seed Center is a premier teacher Training Facility

We are one of only four GYROTONIC® Final Certification Centers in the entire United States. We collaborate with Master Trainers worldwide to be updated with the latest advances in techniques and courses. We have been offering teacher training courses for over a decade!

Interested in becoming a teacher?

 

The Gyrotonic Teacher Training Program is an accredited, licensed program. It takes approximately a year to complete. Courses are offered worldwide, and upon successful completion of the program teachers receive a Gyrotonic trademark license that enables them to teach the method worldwide.

  • Before entering the teacher training program, being familiar with the method is important. You must have at least 30 hours of sessions/classes under your belt.

  • The GYROTONIC® Level 1 Pre-Training is the first course in the Teacher Training Program. It’s a 6-day, 30-hour course. It provides a foundational knowledge of the method, and prepares students to enter the Foundation Course. This course may also be taken by clients wanting to deepen their practice.

  • The GYROTONIC® Level 1 Foundation Course is the primary course of the Teacher Training. It’s a 12-day 60 hour course. Upon completion of this course, students are GYROTONIC® Apprentices and licensed to teach clients.

  • The Gyrotonic Supervised Apprentice Review Course is a 6-day, 30 hour course to refine the apprentices teaching skills under the guidance of a master trainer. This review course is required before entering the Final Certificate Course.

  • This 3-day, 15 hour Final Certificate Course is the last step to becoming a fully certified Gyrotonic trainer. Upon successfully completing the Gyrotonic Level 1 Final Certificate Course, students are considered qualified Gyrotonic Trainers.

Teacher Study Group

We offer a weekly online Study Group for Gyrotonic Teachers and apprentices. This study group is a chance for trainers to ask questions related to teaching, client modifications/issues, and specifics on the GYROTONIC® Level 1 material.

We created this to help teachers become successful in real-life situations and support one another on the journey of being a teacher.

Seed Center Co-Owner Charley Aldred leads the group and it’s available as drop-in. We meet every Friday at 12 pm Eastern Time.
